Description
Cinnamon Trees, Cinnamomum verum, which the bark is used to create the spice we love, also gives us these leaves. They are a great addition to terrariums and aquariums.
Cinnamon leaves are great for leaf litter and in a bioactive terrarium, they can be food for isopods and springtails.
In an aquarium, they release moderate amounts of tannins, as they break down more slowly than other leaves, and have antimicrobial properties. These leaves also serve as a treat for fish and shrimp.
Sold in packs of ten.
