Description
Savu Pods from the Cariniana legalis tree of South America are an interesting addition to terrariums, vivariums, and aquariums.
These are long, hollow pods with one open end, providing hiding places for small animals.
In an aquarium, they release tannins and have antimicrobial properties. We recommend boiling the pods before adding them to your aquarium to ensure they are waterlogged enough to sink and have begun the initial release of tannins. Cool to room temperature before adding them to your aquarium.
