Speciosa pods have a unique shape, perfect for providing visual appeal to any terrarium, vivarium, or aquarium. Additionally, these pods have antimicrobial properties and are rich in tannins— when placed in an aquarium, they will release these tannins which is beneficial for fish and shrimp.
We recommend boiling the pods for 5 minutes before adding them to your aquarium to ensure they are waterlogged enough to sink and have begun the initial release of tannins. Cool to room temperature before adding them to your aquarium.
